that is entirely up to the dealer,,whatever they will allow..there is a lemon law that does protect you in case of the car not functioning properly,but if you aready signed off and are expecting your payment book,or already have it,,your deal is pretty much done,,,but I would ask the dealer,,tell them that you are really unhappy with your decision and would like a different car from them....see what happensAfter I buy a vehicle and sign the contract how many days do I have to change the car for another one?

There is no return period on a car unless written into the contract. The 3 day period so many people think exists is only for sales contrcats signed in your home. Enjoy your new car.
Read your contract. If the contract says you can do that, then do whatever the contract says to do. If the contract doesn't mention that then you can't.

The 72 hours rule that everyone keeps talking about applies to in home sales. It does not apply when you go to a ';normal place of business';. It was designed to prevent people from being pressured into signing contracts just to get the salesman to leave their home. When you go to a place of business, you always have the option of walking out. You can not walk out of a sales situation in your own home.



When you take delivery of a vehicle, and drive it off the dealers lot, you own it!! The dealer is not required to take it back, and most likely will not. If he does, you will have to buy another vehicle from him, because he is not going to refund your money.



If he does let you out of the deal, you will pay more for the other car!!

Unless your dealer is a really nice guy and hasn't sent in the paperwork to MV and the bank, it's yours. I doubt he'll exchange, and he won't allow you to cancel the deal.
None, unless the dealer specifically offers an exchange policy. You bought it, it's yours. Not liking a vehicle you should have carefully considered before you bought it is not a valid reason to try and void a contract. You're going to have a few years to learn to like it.
The only dealer who allows this is Carmax, where they give you up to 5 days to exchange the car for another one even if you signed the contract and obtained financing.



No other dealer anywhere in the USA allows a buyer to back out or change their mind once the contract is signed, even at Friday night @ 9 PM solely because they did not like the car.
I understand that three days are allowed for a remorse refund, but that may vary according to state; don't delay!! (48 hours??)
